About
Hi — I’m the demo persona behind this site.
This page is lorem-grade fiction: it reads like a real “about” from a senior product engineer, but it exists so you can clone the layout, rip out the copy, and drop in your own story.
Background
Product-minded engineer
I’ve spent the last decade somewhere between frontend craft and platform plumbing — the kind of work where a pixel-perfect UI has to survive real traffic, weird edge cases, and a roadmap that changes every sprint.
I care about typed APIs, predictable deploys, and docs that the next hire can actually follow. I’m happiest when design and engineering share the same vocabulary (usually props, tokens, and OpenAPI).

About this website
The public site is a small custom CMS (PHP + SQLite/MySQL) with a minimal admin, REST endpoints, and first-party analytics hooks — because dogfooding your own stack is still the fastest teacher.
Generative AI & transparency
Parts of this demo were drafted and reshaped with generative AI under human direction — useful for speed and variants, not a substitute for fact-checking or lived experience. That’s the honest 2025 stack: models plus review, linting, and taste. The football bit is non-negotiable and fully carbon-based: Lincoln City FC, Sincil Bank, Up the Imps.
